Prof. Amin Abbosh

Prof. Amin Abbosh is a Fellow of the IEEE and Professor at The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, where he leads the Electromagnetic Innovations (ƐMAGIN) research group.
Throughout his career, he has served as Head of the UQ School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, Director of Research, Director of Research Training, Director of the Medical Electromagnetic Imaging Cooperative Research Centre, and a member of the UQ Academic Board.
He is also a member of the Australian Research Council College of Experts and the chief inventor on more than 20 patents licensed to the medical industry, forming the core intellectual property of two Australian MedTech companies.
Prof. Abbosh has authored more than 600 refereed journal and conference publications covering electromagnetic theory, applied research, and industrial innovation.
His honors include receiving the IEEE APS King Prize twice, multiple University of Queensland Excellence Awards in Leadership, Research, Entrepreneurship, and PhD Supervision, as well as several Best Paper Awards at leading international conferences.

Prof. Stefano Maci

Stefano Maci is a Professor at the University of Siena (UNISI), with scientific responsibility for a research group of 15 researchers. He is also the Director of the UNISI PhD School of Information Engineering and Science, which presently includes about 60 PhD students.
His research interests include high-frequency and beam representation methods, computational electromagnetics, large phased arrays, planar antennas, reflector antennas and feeds, metamaterials, and metasurfaces.
Since 2000, Prof. Maci has been responsible for several projects funded by the European Union, including serving as WP Leader of the Antenna Center of Excellence (ACE, FP6-EU) from 2004 to 2007 and as International Coordinator of a 24-institution Marie Curie Action consortium from 2007 to 2010.
He has also carried out research projects supported by the European Space Agency (ESA-ESTEC), the European Defence Agency (EDA), the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), and numerous international industries and research institutions.
Prof. Maci has served on the Technical Advisory Boards of international conferences, Review Boards of international journals, and has organized numerous special sessions and short courses for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.
He has served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility and IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, as well as Guest Editor of special issues. In 2003, he was elected a Fellow of IEEE.
In 2004, he founded the European School of Antennas (ESoA), a leading PhD school covering antennas, propagation, electromagnetic theory, and computational electromagnetics. The school brings together leading European research centers and experts in the field.
Prof. Maci has also been involved in NATO research activities and is currently involved in research related to metamaterials for defense and security applications.
He was co-founder of two spin-off companies and has served as honorary President of LEAntenne e Progetti SPA since 2008.
His research activity includes 10 book chapters, more than 100 papers in international journals, and approximately 300 papers in international conference proceedings. His research has received more than 2000 citations according to Google Scholar.

Prof. Francesco Andriulli

Francesco P. Andriulli is an IEEE Fellow and Full Professor at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He received his Laurea degree from Politecnico di Torino, his M.Sc. from the University of Illinois Chicago, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
His research focuses on computational electromagnetics, including integral equation solvers, well-conditioned and fast formulations, low-frequency electromagnetic analysis, and modeling techniques for antennas, wireless components, microwave circuits, and biomedical applications, with a particular focus on brain imaging.
Prof. Andriulli has received numerous international awards for his research and teaching, including the IEEE AP-S Donald G. Dudley Jr. Undergraduate Teaching Award, the URSI Isaac Koga Gold Medal, and the L. B. Felsen Award for Excellence in Electrodynamics.
He has served in several editorial and leadership roles within IEEE and URSI. He is the 2026 President-Elect of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and served as IEEE AP-S Vice President of Publications in 2025.

Prof. Hua Wang

Hua Wang is a Full Professor at Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET) of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich). He is the Institute Head of the Integrated Systems Laboratory (IIS).
Prior to that, he was a Tenured Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He worked at Intel and Skyworks from 2010 to 2011.
He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
Dr. Wang is interested in innovating analog, mixed-signal, RF, and mm-Wave integrated circuits and systems for wireless communication, sensing, and bioelectronics.
He has authored or co-authored over 350 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers with an H-index of 58.
Dr. Wang is an IEEE Fellow and a Top Contributing Author to the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) of the past 70 years 1954-2023.
He received the IEEE Microwave Prize in 2025, Top-10 Key Achievement award among all Horizon Europe SNS-JU programs in 2025, DARPA Director’s Fellowship Award in 2020, the DARPA Young Faculty Award in 2018, the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2015, the Qualcomm Faculty Award in 2020 and 2021, and the IEEE MTT-S Outstanding Young Engineer Award in 2017.

Ehsan Afshari is a Senior Member of IEEE and Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
His research focuses on analog, RF, millimeter-wave, and terahertz integrated circuits and systems for communications, imaging, and sensing. His research group is supported by major government agencies and leading technology companies.
Dr. Afshari has received numerous awards, including the DARPA Young Faculty Award, NSF CAREER Award, Cornell College of Engineering Michael Tien Excellence in Teaching Award, and several Best Paper Awards. He has also served as an IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Distinguished Lecturer.
He has served on the Technical Program Committees of major IEEE conferences, including ISSCC, RFIC, CICC, and ISCAS.

Prof. Andrea Massa

Andrea Massa is an IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, and Electromagnetic Academy Fellow. He is a Full Professor of Electromagnetic Fields at the University of Trento, Italy, where he teaches electromagnetic fields, antennas, wireless communications, inverse scattering, and optimization techniques.
Prof. Massa is the Director of the ELEDIA Research Center, a network of laboratories across several countries with more than 150 researchers. He also holds academic positions at UESTC in China, CentraleSupélec in France, and Tsinghua University in China, and has held visiting and professorial positions at several international universities.
His research interests include inverse problems, antenna systems and large arrays, radar systems, wireless and RF technologies, metamaterials, reconfigurable materials, and optimization techniques for engineering applications.
Prof. Massa has published more than 900 scientific publications, including over 350 international journal papers and more than 550 conference papers. His work has received more than 22,000 citations on Google Scholar, with an h-index of 87.
He has also delivered more than 200 invited contributions, including over 40 keynote speeches, and has organized more than 100 scientific sessions at international conferences.

Goutam Chattopadhyay

Goutam Chattopadhyay is a Senior Research Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and a Visiting Associate in Physics at the California Institute of Technology.
He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, his M.S. from the University of Virginia, and his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Calcutta, India.
His research interests include microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz receivers and instruments, high-frequency radars, terahertz sources, and the application of nanotechnology at terahertz frequencies.
Dr. Chattopadhyay is an IEEE Fellow and IETE Fellow. His honors include the IEEE Distinguished Microwave Lecturer Award, the IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology Best Paper Award, the IETE Prof. S. N. Mitra Memorial Award, and multiple NASA and JPL awards.
He has contributed extensively to research in terahertz and submillimeter-wave technologies through numerous publications in IEEE journals and international conferences.

Prof. Simon Adrian

Simon B. Adrian is a Senior Member of IEEE and Full Professor at Universität Rostock, Germany. He received his degrees in electrical engineering from Technische Universität München and his M.S. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, followed by a joint Dr.-Ing. degree from TUM and IMT Atlantique in 2018.
His research focuses on computational electromagnetics, particularly integral equation solvers, preconditioning techniques, low-frequency stable formulations, and fast solvers, with applications in antenna modeling and bioelectromagnetics.
Dr. Adrian has been active in the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society since 2016 and has served as Chair of the Student Activities Subcommittee since 2021. He is also a Senior Member of URSI and has served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation since 2020.
He has received numerous awards for his research, including the IEEE APWC-ICEAA Award, the Young Scientist Best Paper Award of the Kleinheubacher Tagung, and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Pre-Doctoral and Doctoral Research Awards. He has also received several student and conference paper awards throughout his career.
