IEEE IMAS Travel Grant for Senior Researchers from Developing Countries

The IEEE IMAS Conference Travel Grant for Senior Researchers from Developing Countries offers a limited number of grants to assist IEEE AP-S/MTT-S members of any grade higher than student presenting papers or Organizing / Co-Chairing activities at IEEE IMAS 2026.

Important Notes

  • The maximum amount awarded per person is $1,000 USD. This limitation ensures that more applicants can be supported.
  • Only a limited number of grants will be awarded, and on a highly competitive basis.
  • The grants will be awarded to applicants who have a genuine need for support, and the paper quality may be taken into consideration.
  • The grants can only be used to cover the travel expenses (air tickets cost and accommodation) for applicants to attend the IMAS conference.

Eligibility Criteria

  • IEEE AP-S and/or MTT-S membership. The applicant must be an active member / senior member of IEEE and an active member of one of IEEE AP/MTT Societies. Student members are not eligible for this program and should instead apply for the IMAS Travel Grant for Students.
  • Authorship/co-authorship of accepted IMAS papers or posters. The applicant must be the author or co-author of an accepted paper in the conference with at least 50% contribution, attend the conference and present the paper.
  • Applicant from a low income country. The applicant should be from a low income country and should not have any other travel support from his/her entity.
  • Significant contributions to IMAS. This may include Organizing Co-Chairs, Track Chairs, Special Session Organizers, TPC reviewers, and other significant contributions. This includes timely completion of assigned tasks and active meeting attendance.
